needs

• 1pt milk
• 55ml single cream
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• 4 egg yolks
• 30g sugar
• 2tsp cornflour

steps

1. heat milk and cream (but not boil).
2. blend yolks, sugar, cornflour.
3. pour the hot milk/cream onto.
4. return to hob, stir over low heat.
